Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, Manama

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable, especially for the lively activities nearby, and the hotel itself was luxurious. The ground floor suite provided easy access to the pool and beach, but I wish there had been more flexibility with the Club facilities. The breakfasts were extensive, and the pool was suitable for both children and adults, but the Club Lounge environment wasn't ideal for my son. It was a lovely escape overall, but I would have liked the option to have some Club benefits served in our suite.

Sofitel hotel truly stands out for its exceptional guest treatment and welcoming staff. The attention to detail, especially from Mr. Izzy at the reception, made my early check-in seamless and enjoyable. While the beach and pool areas offer great relaxation, I felt the lack of a free shuttle service to Manama and the cooler-than-expected pool temperature were downsides. Overall, it's a fantastic place to unwind, especially with such diligent housekeeping and friendly service.

Our experience at the hotel was quite mixed. The beachfront location and beautiful sea views were really a highlight, and the kids' zone was a fantastic feature that kept our little one entertained. On the other hand, the cleanliness of the pools and the beach left much to be desired, and we experienced some noise issues that disrupted our peace during the night. Overall, it's a lovely spot for families, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

My stay was absolutely wonderful, with special touches that made my birthday truly memorable. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. While the breakfast could use some improvement, especially the quality of the food, the dining overall was enjoyable with a fantastic atmosphere. The location was lovely and right by the pool area, which was perfect for relaxation. I appreciated the thoughtful surprises, but I think they could focus on enhancing some food offerings.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The cleanliness of the hotel, along with the fantastic beachfront view, was a true highlight. However, I did find that the swimming pool temperature could be improved, and it would be helpful if they offered a shuttle service to the city center.
